 It feels GOOD to him, and not just physically. Men usually associate how wet you are with how aroused you are (even though you could well be very horny but not terribly wet, or vice versa), so he almost certainly means that you're wetness is a compliment to him and makes him feel like he really turns you on. Besides that, it's lube that makes sex easier and feel better, which is good.
