Does he mean he is falling to and can't quite say it? He told me he was so happy that I found him. But i just want to know what it means when a man says I would never hurt you Reply to this Question Share |

I don't think it means anything. Guys say all kinds of stuff in the 'heat of the moment.' What really matters is what he says and especially how he treats you. Is he respectful? Does he act like he can't wait to see you? These are more reliable indicators of his feelings.

Uhm.. that he will NOT hurt you. Don't read too much into it, just be happy, men are straight to the point when it comes to expressing their feelings. I think he means it. My boyfriend says something like "you know I'd never hurt you" and I can feel it. It might sound squishy, but we have that bond and I feel that I can trust him when he uses these words. They're very important to him, he's rarely using them, but when he does it, I know he means them. In the rest of the time, he's SHOWING me and we all know the classic "actions speak louder than words".
