 funny thing is you never realy can be sure, you just gotta try read the eye signals, women usually get very quiet and shy around me, and when i make eye contact and they awkwardly shy away with a subtle grin, then i know for sure, well goodluck.

I reckon when a girl asks your name she's simply...er...asking your name. I think if you start suspecting ulterior (romantic) motives behind such a basic verbal gesture, then you're bound to end up disappointed.
