There are two main law attorney's in your country. A barrister and a solicitor. If you choose a barrister, you'd be representing clients in courts where you live, that have county or state jurisdiction. You may also be an advocate for your clients as well. I'm going to be an advocate for children of child abused homes in my county. the child can't represent themselves so I go to court and stand in their place.
The solicitor is a specialized lawyer. They deal much more with clients, and represent people outside the courts you would be in and representing people in the high courts.
I hope this helped. If this is what you want to do, our country and yours need representation by people who put the needs of their clients first. Good luck.
