 Ok I will be nice! Cross-dressing does not mean you are gay, mentally disturbed or anything too sinister. It is possible childhood experiences influence your adult interests but I am inclined to think not. If you really want to find out why you cross-dress try some specialist counselling for gender-related issues as it may reveal the answer. Transvestites who go down the surgery route are required to have fairly extensive therapy in most countries, so there are plenty of counselling services out there. I am not suggesting you would be having surgery but these counselling services are particularly directed towards gender identity and cross-dressing behaviour. I think what you are doing is pretty much harmless as long as you are open and honest with partners. I don't expect any woman would want to walk in on their boyfriend or husband dressed in their clothing without prior warning. I have a friend who is a cross-dresser and his girlfriend is quite happy with the arrangement although they do fight over who wears what!
