We also have the same major; we met in a chemistry class last fall. I prefer being with a guy who shares most of my interests, but some girls like guys who are opposite/different from them.

I usually only have 1 type of guy i go for, tall, skinny, dark hair, nerdy personality, can make me laugh, not take themselves too seriously, not muscly, muscles freak me out haha, but everyone is different you will find some people find you attractive some dont so you will fall into someones category :)

nice hair and great smile always helps. personality wise: funny and smart, knowledgeable and friendly. most importantly, he must get along with his family, and preferably yours too. if a man doesn't respect his own parents, he probably won't respect yours either.

 i definitely have a type, but quite a few times I have met guys who break that mold by having personalities that allow us to just click and get past everything physical.if you want details on my "perfect" someone... physically: tall (around 6', i like feeling small and protected by a guy), broad shoulders, a little bit muscled is fine but i'm not into ripped and rippling... it's fine to look at but not to cuddle with, i prefer dark hair - short to medium in length, blue eyes are a total turn on for me, and defined facial features. for everything else: has a sense of humor but still knows when to be serious, knows what he wants to do with his life, treats me with respect, a guy who's good with kids is also kind of a turn on (lol), hygienic, spontaneous at times (i need that push in my life), loyal, caring, yadda yadda... of course everyone is different, this is just some of the stuff I like.

You have probs heard this before but for me its personality first then looks. I like all kind people and usually like them. Vbut I don't develop feelings unless there is a physical attraction. But on the other hand if a guy is totally "hot" I probs won't like him if his personality isn't in check. It is al a balance. Remember though not everyones going to like you but you should never change yourself for others. Someone will find yo to be there perfect match eventually and it won't be hard because they will love you physically and emotionally :) good luck in the future *thumbs up*
