Or even, make him a website dedicated to him. Piczo.com is really easy to use

so your in high school i'm guessing or at least he is so options would be stuff like
1.Zippo(lighter)-even if he doesnt smoke guys like fire and in high school people constantly ask you for a ligt.
2.Pocket Knife- can be engraved and is really useful
3. Chain- like a necklace buy for guys obviously.
4.Watch- can also be engraved and most guys wear them as they are way classier than a cell phone
5.Cologne- gotta love the way ur man smells choose his sent.
6.concert tickets- depending if you can stand the same music as him
There are so many things just look at him hobbies and see what stands out to you and usually if hes a game guy or a sports guy you can usually go to the specific stores for hat kind of stuff and just ask someone working there what they would recommend and hopefully they have something to say.

ps3 xb360 or if he owns any of these consoles find out which genre of games he's into and get him a copy of a videogame.

Well, you guys are still young and haven't been together that young, so I would suggest something fun and not too expensive.
I recently got the guy I was dating a fun present: I got him a giant lava lamp and giant superman mug. He loved the lava lamp and puts it on in his apartment all the time. He also like the superman mug b/c I call him my hero all the time. I filled the mug with his favourite candies and a bunch of hot chocolate mixes. It's been a month and he is still telling me how much he loves them!
I know they seem like silly gifts, but they were things that I knew he would like and enjoy and every time he uses them he thinks of me!
Another safe bet is to get him a bunch of different gift certificates to places he likes.
It's hard to suggest what to get for someone else without knowing them, but be creative. Anything that shows you put some thought into it will be appreciated no matter what it is.
