reader, anonymous, writes (17 March 2011): "Feeling Loved" is not the same as being bought things. First of all stop buying him things. If he never buys you anything, don't spoil him with material things if you're going to feel bad about it later. Some people either can't afford to buy someone else presents, or they don't think thats how they show their love.
You need to talk to him, feel loved in a different way and don't focus too much on money.
