xxbecksyxx agony auntI know it's not smart to drink at 16, but everyone does it so I can't blame you.

Well to find out, try flirting back. Ask her out in a flirty way. I'm not going to suggest anything, because girls like different flirting techniques, plus, I'm rubbish at flirting myself x]

anyway.

Good luck x

A female reader, katatonik United States +, writes (31 December 2008):

katatonik agony aunt13-15 eh? Please be careful with the drinking, not to preach but I have to say it.

Some girls seem to enjoy guys who treat them like shit. It's a "thrill of the chase" type thing, I guess. If you feel that you possess someone's affection and devotion completely, it becomes easy (though not right) to take this for granted. "Bad boys" on the other hand are very hard to pin down and "own" and girls who pine for them are rarely able to feel secure that these boys love them and them only. I think this jealousy makes them desire the guy all the more; it is easy indeed to want what you can't have.

I'm not saying you should turn around and become a jerk to attract girls. You shouldn't. Nor do you need to; it sounds as if the girl who messaged you is interested in you just as you are. Ask her to hang out, just the two of you or in a group if you think she would be more comfortable, and see what she says and where things go. Good luck =]
