Why would he say that, especially when i told him i loved him in the message i sent to him before that?. It's worrying me. I don't even know how to respond, as he should know that i do. Sometimes he has said that he is worried that i will leave him for someone else too. We do have a big age gap though.

HI
He sounds very much inlove with you, and as you stated worried that you may leave him for someone else. Im guessing your the younger one here? His bound to feel a little insecure, what with all the younger and more fitter men walking around. Just reasure him untill he gets it through his head. I know this can be a bit tedious at times especially if you are telling him, and showing him all the time, but he may have been really crushed in the past. Has he been with a younger woman before who has left him for a younger man?. Maybe he finds it hard to believe that a younger woman like yourself is inlove with him, his waiting for the bubble to burst, expecting you to wake up any minute and realise you want a younger man? Why dont you arrange a nice meal, a bottle of wine, low lights, nice music, and show him just how much he means to you. Then say " does this show you how much I love you " because if you keep thinking im going to leave I will end up leaving because there is only so much I can do and say to make you understand my love for you. You will know what to say im sure :) Bless him tough, he really does love you :)
