The reason we broke up was because I cheated and after that situation we mutually decided to break up. When I offically became single I started dating but I never felt the way I felt with him with the people I was dating. Mean while I was dating he took is time to heal. Now after close to 3 years I still love him. Once I told him he told me I loved me but he needed to date also before he could be with me. Does that make any sense? Does he love me or is he just hurt and finally has he stoped loving me and afriad to say so?Would gladly appreciate your advice.

It means that in all truth, he's not coming back. He wants to date other people, have some fun and see what happens. I don't think realistically he will come back. Sorry.
