This can be picked up and spread very easily and has nothing to do with sex. Its most common in children in fact. One way its spreads easily in girls of your age is by sharing mascacas! You can ask at a chemist for the eye drops and the pharmacist will just check that it is conjunctivitis first. But if i were you id visit the doctor as the eye drops the chemists sell are a weaker strength than the ones the doctor will give you, and you want it cleared up quickly. In the meantime dont share towels or flannels with others or you could spread it. Try not to rub your eyes too much and keep your hands clean. It might be a good idea to stop wearing eye make up for the time being and throw away mascaras ect that have been in contact with your eyes. As for your remark about chlamydia. I take it despite your age, that you are sexually active. If chlamydia is a concern then go to a STD clinic and get checked. They will text the result to you and its all private. Its a quick, easy test so do it please. And if you going to continue having sex make sure you ALWAYS insist on protection. As you are finding out, when your health is in question its not funny, so be responsible x

Gunk around your eyes upon wakening is more than likely due to allergies, often to dust and dust mites living on your bedding. Wash your linens in hot water and change them weekly, if you are outside a lot or working out, shower before going to bed. Remove any pets from your bedroom, and take an allergy tablet daily, such as Zyrtec.
But get a diagnosis from a doctor.

and i have had clamydia and i did not have gunk around my eyes at all when i had it it may side affect people differently but i was told by the nurse that only a majority of men get the gunk aroung their eyes not women, they tend to get brown smelly discharge and paining in the stomach or pelvic area.
