You say you don't want muscle just fat - you are wrong.
I know you don't want to be a body builder - no girl does.
But you should understand that muscle is what gives us girls our shape. Fat is not a good thing.
So what I suggest is building up a bit of muscle tone to fill out your legs, your bum, your chest and your sides.
Protien and carbs are what you need to eat lots of nuts. Try to stay away from salted ones all the time as salt is bad.
Eggs are good too, and so is milk.
Just having milk and a big bowel of pasta will help you no end.
But you have to do exercise as well to build up the muscles in the areas you want. You don't want to stay skinny but have a belly.
Good Luck!! xx

Swimming and running are also great, but if you're looking to gain weight, those aren't what you want (on the other hand, cardio workouts release endorphins and put you in a better mood and give you more energy).
If you want to add weight, you should increase how much you eat by a small amount, so that you add it slowly. The reason is, if you want to stay at the higher weight, you need to be doing something sustainable. Whatever it is that you like, just take an extra quarter or half of a portion each time.
Also, keep in mind that changing how you look won't make a huge difference in and of itself -- it's your confidence that's the issue, and your looks are just one way that your lack of confidence is showing. It's good to be proactive like this, but work on feeling good regardless and people will start to recognize your confidence whether the weight sticks or not.
