You may bleed, you may not- it may not hurt at all. The best thing that you can do is relax and keep yourself from "clenching". The pain isn't extreme, so don't get distressed- but you will feel pinching. Good luck! Be safe, always use a method of contraception, because regardless of whether or not your hymen is intact- it is not a condom, dental dam, or contraceptive pill! when a guys penis penetrates your vagina fully then you've lost your virginity... some women bleed when the hymen brakes and also may experience pain and it will stretch your vagina... make sure your relaxed and are both lubricated enough to make penetration easier! and also make sure you think about contraception coz the consequences are life changing :) xxxx

 Signs? You don't see a sign, you see (quite bluntly) a penis in you. Then often it hurts because you are not used to having something that big up there, and some women bleed.
