What can I do to sort out our friendship again?

A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

hello :)Okay, so recently a friend of mine said that he really liked me, I, unfortunately, didn't feel the same way back as I like another guy. He said he was okay with this, although pretty upset. I asked him if we could still stay such good friends and he agreed, although now he is hardly talking to me. I asked him why once and his excuse was "I got caught up in life"... what does that even mean?! I feel extremely guilty for making him upset, but I had to be honest at some point. What can I do to sort out our friendship again? I keep on talking to him, and trying to help, he says everything is fine but I don't believe him.

Thankyou in advanced :)

Starlights agony auntsometimes when guys dont get what they want they turn a bit stuffy.

its not your fault you havent done anything wrong he's just a bit offended becoz u dont feel the same way for him.

just give him some space and see if he calms down.

sometimes friendships dont work as 1 may want more than friendship with the other and if the other cant give it they generally drift apart.

good luck!
