writes: Hi. I am a university going girl of age 20. My height is between 5'5 and 5'6 and my weight remains between 39 to 43 kg. Recently due to severe sickness, it fell to 36 kg. I have a problem of irregular periods since my 1st period that was in my 9th standard. I get my periods sometimes even after 3 months. My problem is weight loss. My session of university is afternoon and there is no proper timing of food since I come back home 7 o clock in the evening. My face is very healthy but I think my arms and breasts are small. I want my body to be healthier. What can I do? Any help would be appreciated.

If thats what you need to do then do it, or eat dinner earlier in the day. Your period goes irregular because of your weight. You could also go see your doctor for nutrition help. About sickness: when your body is unhealthy your immune system is not good either. Im not saying that was the cause of your sickness, I dont know what sickness you had. But a healthy body will prevent you from getting sick constantly.I had a similar problem, although not as severe as yours. I was sick all the time, my weight said I was underweight. I tried to eat veggies to get better immune system, but what I found to really help me was a meat diet. Eat more red meat. It's got protein, and right now your body is crying for protein in order to build up again. Also: exercise. After stabilizing your weight! Jog, build muscles, anything. When you go to the gym, get an instructor to help you make a routine, and things you should do. You're not there to drop weight, which so many others are there for, so avoid looking at what others do and get your own personal routine. It helps you to build up your body, you get healthy, and then wont get so sick. That and proper dieting will help you.I will still advice you to go see your doctor first, you are severely underweight and it can have man many complications which you should take into consideration when you work on your body. But yes: be a "slob" and focus on eating more meat and less veggies. It made a HUGE difference for me. I used to be sick every month or so, and also started getting urinal infections very often. Now I have only been sick one time so far after starting my meat-diet, which was near one year ago.
