What can I do? Getting feelings for an online crush

A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I met a guy online a couple weeks ago. We started texting and I'm starting to like him. Every day I find myself looking forward for his texts everyday because he always makes me laugh and is fun tot all to.

I have no idea what he looks like since we didn't meet thru dating website. I know he is my age (we spoke a few times) and again I just feel the chemistry between us.

He tells me he enjoys our conversations.

I'm getting confused because day by day I'm starting to like him more. He lives in another part of the world and since we are both young none of us plans to visit anytime soon. I feel like I should stop talking to him because I don't wanna get hurt in the end, but I also can't picture myself staying away.

Do you guys think there is any way it's possible to just stay in touch and enjoy it without having anybody's feelings hurt? Or should I just stop it all together?

chipmunk37 agony auntI think as long as you have no plans to met and you don't get to serious with him then I see no harm in keep talking to him. Have him as a fun pen pal or overseas friend but keep him in that category. Don't let his existence in your life stop you from finding a boyfriend/relationship.
