He s so straight forward when he talks and i think that s why he s always in a conflicts. Mostly he s too proud of himself even if the situation doesnt favour him, he'll find something to say so that it will look as if what he s doing is right. He doesnt want to gives us pocket money or buy us things that we need, everyday is the same story about him having alot of debts that he needs to pay. He got a very poor history about cars, non of his cars lasted 2years or so..until he drove a damaged car, acting too confident about it..he just didnt care aslong as he drove a car and was able to take him to work. People would make fun of him, even my classmates. I dont know what to say when they see my father s dirty damaged car passing by, they will go like 'hy, is that your father?'. .and shyly il just say 'yah' or just keep quiet. I hate it, i know i cant change my dad from being my dad but there s something that i can change. What is it that i can change that will make the situation much better?

Lol, sounds like my dad. Like SVC said, it's basically their fulltime job to embarrass their children. If you learn to stop caring about what other people may think about your dad because of how that may reflect on you, you'll save yourself a lot of fussing over nothing. Plus they only laugh because they can tell you're uncomfortable. Stop showing that you are and they'll stop too.

You can accept that all teens (even Donald Trumps kids) are embarrassed by their parents..
it's almost a parent's job to embarrass their kids...
