I then got another period around the 18th/19th Jan which lasted a few days, but since then, nothing. I do tend to have a long cycle naturally, I would estimate around 32 days, but obviously whilst on the pill that was eradicated. The only time I had sex was on the 26th (he wore a condom and didn't even come, although he did enter me without one to start). On the 16th I noticed... well the best way to describe it is (sorry tmi) the normal discharge was slightly tinged pink so I thought my period was starting and put in a tampon, and I got a little brown blood, like at the end of a period over the next few days but that was it. I don't really feel like I usually do before it starts either, boobs dont hurt, no cramps, my lower stomach is a bit achey but I think thats from working out! I'm gonna go get a pregnancy test later, to keep my mind at ease, but as I think it must be unlikely I was wondering what else could delay a period?

Good to see a doctor, but don't stress out too much over it. It's most likely just a delay after taking the pill and nothing more serious. Try not to stress too much.

I was on it for less than a year (it gave me terrible migraines) and it still took 3-4 months to start having normal periods. I have several friends who stopped taking the pill because they wanted to start a family, but it took them up 2-6 months to become pregnant.
So go see a doctor just to rule out anything, but it's probably nothing to worry about.

There's pretty much zero chance you're pregnant. It can take a few months after you stop the pill to get your cycle back to normal. If after after another month you still have no period I'd call your doctor.

In order to shed your lining you have to ovulate... you may not have ovulated yet and that may be why you have not had a period.
My cycle when I was young went anywhere from 28 to 35 days and I never knew what was going on... and it was not unusual to skip a period or go an extra two weeks when a cycle adjusted... (happened all to frequently for me)
Yeah pee on a stick and if (when) you're negative relax.
You also could call the doctor for peace of mind.
