 Well I learnt that if someone likes you it will be pretty obvious - if they don't like you then they wont make an effort
- flirting (eye contact etc)
- they look at you a lot
- when they are talking with someone else their body faces towards you
- they make an effort with you
- they tend to start the conversations

 Sure definite signs? This might be old school but it is the best advice I have: He invites you home to look at his stamp collection. Any variation counts. If a man/boy asks you to come home to him to look at whatever odd and boring thing he has (his collection of videogames, or anything else you probably have little or no interest in), that is him being in love and nervous and just wanting to spend some private time with you to get to know you. If you accept any such invitation, that is you telling him that you like him in return.
Other sure signs: he asks you out on a date, or actually tells you he likes you, he lingers close to you and stalls time when he has to leave, as if he never wants to go. Boys who are in love don't touch up girls.. that is what players do. Boys or men who are in love are terrified that their object of admiration will reject them, and so will never be bold enough to touch the girl. Unless they are under heavy influence of alcohol and you have given them some signs that you return the feelings.
Boys who are in love often avoid their crush as well, just to mention that. So touching and eye contact and attention aren't truly good signs. What you can do, if said guy doesn't invite you to look at his stamp collection, you invite him to look at yours. Basically, invite him to go with you to look at whatever dumb thing is around, for just the two of you. It can be totally random. If he accepts he probably likes you. If he looks at you weirdly and says "why, no I don't think so..." he doesn't like you.
Mind you, these are the signs of a man truly in love or genuinely interested in you as a person. Players, or men who just want sex, is another story.
