All of my friends are in relationships or are married and have very little time for me, I spend most weekends at home, I have joined a gym, a book club etc but I would love any ideas of ways to meet new people, it has been ages since I have even been on a dateThank you Reply to this Question Share |

Please post if you figure this out, I feel at our age everyone already has their close group of friends and it would be kind of weird to openly try and make new ones. I kind of do like the sound of that walking club though!

Clubs that have a social element are best.
Walking clubs are great and I know of a dozen folks who have hooked up through them. In the UK there are young person's ramblers you can google them for nearby clubs.
Other ideas:
Art clubs, photography groups, language classes, voluntary work, dancing classes (ceroc is very popular and social).
