writes: So i had a class with this really cute girl at university last fall 2009, i tried to get her to hang out with me on a couple occasions but nothing ever came of it. i had no contact at all with her since January 2010 until she contacted me on facebook last week. so i asked her if she wanted to have lunch this week and she agreed. my questions are what are some signs to look for to see if she is interested in being more then just friends? and what are some ways to keep the conversation going and keep from getting stale? i really like this girl and don't want to miss this second chance i have. Thanks and i would appreciate any advice people have.

Cotton223 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks for the advice 'quickhelper' we did end up having lunch together and it went really well. i followed your advice by talking about her mostly, and tried to make her laugh i was able to keep the awkward silences to a bare minimum, thank god. Anyways really appreciate the help.

when you go with her, if the girl is interested, she will keep talking.
just be yourself and talk about her. make jokes, and if she laughs, i think youve got a good chance.
with girls, its easiest for a guy to make the first move and the girl will let you know if she is interested in you with simple signs.
