His actions show that he cares very deeply about me, however he has never said I love you to me, and this bothers me quite a bit. I have said it numerous times to him, and I am starting to wear down a bit because I have never heard it back. He says it's not that he doesn't feel that way, he is just not ready to say it....I don't get it?????? What am I supposed to do...wait for years to come to hear those precious words?

Don't you think that actions speak louder than words? When he does say it, you'll know that he means every single word from the bottom of his heart so pushing him to say that he loves you will make him feel like he's lying. Or would you rather have a guy who tells you that he loves you everyday but cheats on you after he said that.

Read "Men are From Mars, Women are from Venus" If you are living with him, just leave it on the night stand, if not, leave it where he can see that your are reading it. NEVER mention it or hint at he should read it. He will read it (eventually).
Until then understand that "I Love you" melts a woman's heart. "I Need You" melts a man's. Men and Women sometimes speak a different language. For a Venusian to learn to speak Martian is as hard as it is for a Marsian to speak Venusian but it is worth learning the language.
