A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

It started around 4 months ago.

I went to my best friends house for a few drinks as it was Christmas Day and it's tradition, only this year her friend came and we started talking straight away.

He is the same age as my best friend (20) two years younger than myself. Nothing happened, it was just general, get to know each-other chit chat. Towards the end of January I started going out to the pub with them all (there are around 14 of us in the group) every other friday.

The second time we went, I got pretty drunk and luckily we all live quite close to each other so we could walk each other home.

They all walked me home and then went home themselves, apart from this guy, he messaged me on facebook telling me to go to my front door, so i did.

We got talking, then he moved in and started kissing me. Since that night, we've been talking pretty much everyday and every other time we've been to the pub, i've met him and we've shared various kisses.

I also don't want to talk to my best friend (who's also his friend) about it as on nights out when he's been flirting with me she looks at him as if to say "don't try it"

I don't know what she means by it but don't want to bring it up in conversation.

I don't mind a bit of fun, but i'm scared that i'll begin to really like him because he can be a sweet guy.

Any help or advice on how to go about this situation?

your friend knows this guy more than you do, she must know something you don't OR he has slept with your friend then hurt her in the past and she doesn't want you to fall for this players charms.

Xx-Scorpio-xX agony auntMaybe he's very flirtatious and hurts girls a lot, so she doesn't want him to hurt you? He might not be what he seems. The only way you'd know though is by asking your friend, since we don't know any of you in real life.
