A male Ireland age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Why would this be happening.?

I work in a factory that works very odd shift hours. There's this girl i work with who lives in the same town as me. We're good mates and get along great together. Really good friends. Because of the unsociable hours we work public transport is often not an option for getting to and from work for her and she depends on getting a lift into work from time to time. . I have a car and have offered her lifts on numerous occasions which she politely refuses. However she'll tke a lift from almost anyone else, even with people she seriously dislikes. This wouldn't normally bother me except for the fact that we are such good friends. It hurts my feelings a little . So my question. Do i talk to her about it (running the risk of making it an issue) or do I let sleeping dogs lie?

kenny agony auntI don't think she refuses the lifts because she thinks your creepish or anything, as you have said you are quite good friends.

I think she fancys you in some way, and feels either shy or awkward being alone with you in the car. Which is why she declines your offers and goes with someone she despises.

I say talk to her about it.

Good luck

Well...she could either fancy you(and doesnt trust herself being alone in the car with you), or she doesnt want to be alone with you because you give her the creeps. Next time she refuses a lift say, you take lifts from everyone else. Do i freak you out or something. Are you sure your friends or are you just imagineing that your friends. Either dont offer her any lifts ever (and let her run the risk of being stuck in the rain HA) or ask her if you freak her out or something.
