We're going hiking on our second date!

A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Went on a first date with a guy awhile ago (a few weeks ago), now we're going to go hiking in a couple of weeks. It'll be slippery and snowy!

I tend to be a little cautious but he really wanted to hike this mountain. On one hand, he can't really be replused by me if he wants to go on a multi-hour hike with me all the way up a mountain. On another hand, what if he thinks of me as a platonic person so much that he suggested hiking?

I do remember saying that I liked hiking (I do...just usually not during the winter.). I think it could be really beautiful but I just hope nerves won't get the better of me (because of the wintery conditions).

A part of me is wondering why I'm agreeing, if it's just for someone who's going to think of me as a platonic friend, why am I going to do it???

If there's snow you're going to end up joining your sleeping bags together for warmth and then your vagina \ penis connection will just happen.

So just enjoy ...... [ Maybe get on the pill if not already on it. ]

Report back after the weekend.

~CHILL~

It sounds like he is someone that you would consider as a partner, and if I'm correct don't focus on a commitment. It's so not even the time for that.

Simply enjoy quality time with him. Obviously hiking is something he enjoys and desires your company as he apparently wants to share a part of him with you.

Just chill...try it...you might find that either like hiking or don't and it will also give you one on one time to learn him and he learn you.

Just chill and if something more is meant it will naturally unfold. Don't force it.
