A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hi I'm desperate for some advice! Today my best friend told me he loved me. Of course I was clueless before but I'm single and I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! I think I like him, I really do, but after all we are best friends and I don't want to end up hurting him.

I know for a fact he's never gone out with a girl before me. We hang out a lot, and we're definitely opposites. Can we make this work?

Should I?

didda123 agony auntJust go with the flow you are just young and chances are that your relationship will be short lived anyway but if he is a really good friend now you may risk that by having a relationship with him if things don't work out between you.

They say opposites attract and it is quite true you will have twice as much to talk about if you have different interests.

Hope it works out for you just don't take things too seriously you are both very young x
