If we started going out he is the kind of guy I can see myself falling for. And he leaves for university at the end of this year.He is kind of shy when it comes to girls and he treats me like his best friend's little sister.But I swear to god that I felt a vibe once between us. Should I go for it? or would it be too awkward with my brother and all?

reader, anonymous, writes (25 January 2009): Why don't, when he comes over sometime, you pull him over when your brother's busy with something and ask him if he wanted to meet you alone sometime?Its not a big deal if he says no, maybe he just doesn't have the time or (I hate to be harsh but..)just doesn't want to go out with you.However you mentioned him being shy, maybe he likes you but he's afraid to show it because you might not like him back. Or (I know this sounds hard to believe but guys are weird like that) he might feel you're off-limits because you're his best friend's sister.I think hun that you'll have to make the first move either way.
