We're both shy so how do we take this possible "thing" further?

A female , anonymous writes:

I really like this guy, but only see him very seldom during work hours, when we do meet we talk, I m not sure if I m reading the signs right, but when he comes into the office, he leans himself against the door, waves to me when he walks by, says bye to me when he's leaving but doesnt do this with anyone else at work. He tells me his plans for the weekend, sometimes I feel he's hinting for me to somehow suggest company to come along (me). He's a very shy guy. I really dont know what to do, I haven't ever asked a guy out, and dont really think I could.

A male reader, been there done that +, writes (7 May 2006):

I would say this is deffinatelly a hint that he likes you.

Maybe next time he mentions his plans if it's something you might enjoy or fancy giving it a go then say, it'll give you a conversational starting point and who know's it could be the start of something very exciting.

Making the first step is always very scary, daunting but if you don't try you'll never know and could end up kicking yourself for not going for it.

The worst he can say is no, which will bruise your ego but just think what a a'yes' could do for you.

Go-on just do it!

Good luck and let me know how you get on!
