A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've known this guy for maybe more or five years now (we only see each other at church ), but we never really talked. Two years ago, I had to leave the country. When I came back for the summer, a whole bunch of us teenagers at church were playing truth or dare. When it was his turn, they asked him out of all the girls in our church who does he like and he said my name (but it was after a very, very long thought) At the moment I was suprised but I didn't show it, plus I didn't feel attracted to him.

This year when I came back, he complimented me for looking pretty, but that's what other people are saying too, so I can't really tell if he's just being nice or what. (pretty stupid) but we were playing truth or dare again, and they asked me what type of guys that I liked. I answered "athletes" and he jumps up and says "I'm an athlete!". He acts weird around me too. He always say things funny that makes me smile. But I'm not sure if he likes me, because we still haven't really talked.

I really really like him now. But the thing is that I'm leaving for another year and I've heard that he's leaving to China next month too.

I really don't know what to do now. I don't know if he likes me and I am too shy to ask.
