A female reader, Moo's Mum New Zealand +, writes (19 July 2011):

Moo's Mum agony auntAre you arty at all? You could make him something or draw him something and give it to him saying that it's something to remember you by and that you are really looking forward to seeing him again next term. Otherwise find some sort of object to do the same thing with e.g beautiful shell, shiny stone etc. The fact that he watches you is a sure sign he's interested so go for it.
