Went to the doctor and I still have a brown discharge, is this normal?

Okay well, I went to the doctors to sort out my discharge because it smelled and was brownish. I had swabs and when I went back for the results, my doctor told me that I had no infection and that it was a normal thing that happens. He gave me antibiotics and I've taken them and now a week later and my discharge is exactly the same. Has anyone else ever had this problem and if so what did you do about it? Or is it just my body?

Yeah honey I had pretty much the same problem, I didn't go to the doctors though. It's totally normal, just try not to worry or think about it. It's natural for your body - it can be caused by some parts of your cycle, or your vagina could just be cleaning itself out basically. So no worries there :]
