Hello, everybody,

I know this question doesn't have a defined answer, but I was just looking for opinions: what is the ideal ratio of a guys' weight to a girls' weight in a relationship?

Thanks

k_c100 agony auntWell I am 5"3 and only date guys who are over 6 foot (weird I know but I really like tall guys!). And I quite like skinny men so there have been plenty of guys I have dated that have weighed less than me!

I am what you would call "curvy" which means I weigh 152lbs - I have boobs and hips thankfully which makes me look slightly more in proportion. I am still only a UK size 12 so by no means am I huge! So its actually pretty easy for me to find guys that are pretty close to my own weight because I am that little bit larger, but I find it doesnt really matter who weighs what!

everyone has their "types" and preferences when it comes to the opposite sex, so weight doesnt often come into it. As long as both of you eat healthily then who cares! It shouldnt bother you if your boyfriend only weighs a couple more pounds than you, what should matter is the person on the inside and how they treat you and how they make you feel.

Weight really is insignificant in the right relationship - and if anyone ever makes an issue out of it then they are not right for you.

I hope this helps!

I'm sorry, but PokerRob, are you suggesting 120 pounds includes a little bit of chunk? I'm going to have to disagree on that point, but thank you all for your answers. They've really helped!

Thanks!

kellyxxx agony auntThere is no set ratio really. I would like my boyfriend to be abit heavier than me. I'm 8 stones and my boyfriend is 12 stones. I wouldn't go out with anyone who was skinnier than me, it would look weird! X
