writes:So Im having a problem with this girl I went on a date with.Basically before the date we would talk for hours on end (usually over IM) and it was pretty fun. We didnt really have topics at hand we just talked.Anyway we did go out on a date and the date seemed good. We laughed; saw a movie and we kissed for a while at the end.But ever since the date she's been acting very distant. I try to talk to her and I barely get an answer back now. For instance I asked her if she wanted to do something on wednesday and so far no reply.Ive asked her if somethings wrong or if Im bugging her and she said no there's nothing wrong. The day before I asked if she enjoyed our date and she said she did.Im worried she's lying to me because she wants to avoid a depressing talk to shoot me down because it's just strange how we've went to talking non-stop to pretty much not talking. Am I being paranoid?

 No your not being paranoid.. The harsh truth is that she's not into you physically like she thought she would be. She doesn't want to tell you straight because she knows she'll hurt your feelings. If u hit it off before the date and then after the date its all gone quiet, it means something on the date put her off. Especially as she's ignoring you and being less talkative than normal. You've asked her directly and she hasn't answered or been vague, so my best advice is to stop making contact with her and see what happens. If she likes you she'll make contact, if she doesn't then it wasn't meant to be.
