A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Ok so my life is messed up... completely.

last year in my spare time i played this on-line game, never spoke to anyone it was really just something to pass the time.

One day some random person came up to me and asked if i would help him fight and he would help me, something completely normal in this game. I think its great when you find someone actually nice on the internet so of course i said yes, well we had loads of fun and talked for ages.

Over the next 2 months we kept going on that game only to find each other and start talking again, it was great fun and of course we were both smart enough to understand, no full names, addresses ect.

After a while we got bored of the game but still wanted to chat so we swapped msn addys and talked on there. We would spend all day talking about useless and pointless stuff, being weird and funny and becoming good friends.

Soon both of us realised we were getting so comfortable with each other, we could talk about anything even saying when we were going to the bathroom or blowing our nose, we were acting like an old married couple. Then came the slow realisation we were falling for each other.

I understand how this is sounds stupid and that many people may think there's no way you can fall in love without meeting each other. Well its been 11 months now and we swapped pics, got microphones and now webcam. (all in slow progression) and we both know we are definatly in love.

Once in a while though i'll have thoughts about wether this is stupid and wrong, ive never been in love, i always wanted to find the person i would marry and live with for the rest of my life and thats it.

And i really do see myself with him one day, thing is he lives in America, me in the UK and there's an 8 year age gap. I would like to know what other people think about this. Thank you

Hi, i had completely forgotten i had written this untill i got a little email a few days ago and thought i would update it. Well its been another year and were still together, there no way anyone could make me think of leaving him now. We've got each other pressies, looked after each other when times are rough and generally had fun. I dont know what else to say but if theres anyone else feeling like this dont ever let it go, meeting him was the best thing thats ever happened to me and i never want it to end.

Neferterie agony auntwow! I say go for it. I normally don't say things like that with the internet, but we all deserve the chance to be in love and it seems you've found yours!

If I were you I'd tell him to buy a plane ticket and come over, or vice versa.

Oh good luck!

Keep me informed! This is so cute!

i think its cool. i used to play this game called Tibia and i met a feww friend s near me that i still hang out with even though i dont play anymore. i completly understand how you can fall in love on a game. the age gap doesnt make a big difference once you get older so if it doesnt matter to you, why should you care what others say? its your life you live it how ever oyou would like to. good luck
