A female reader, Blod United Kingdom +, writes (16 January 2010):

Blod agony auntI have the same problem as you when it comes to nerves. I struggle to eat and am sick, and most of the time it's totally irrational. Try to eat and drink something, just eat a little at a time. Try to relax, listen to music and keep busy so that you're mind is occupied with something else.

You've said yourself that he's nice and his friends say he's cool so there's no need to worry. You're just meeting up with someone which is something that happens lots of times in life.

The most important thing is that you go. I know it's so easy to think I'm not going so I have nothing to worry about, but that makes it worse. Tackle it head on and go for it.

Good luck. X
