I recently caught him him talking to other girls online and ever since then we barley ever have any physical contact. He swears that nothing ever happend with them and that he was just chatting, should i take the it as a sign of our lack there of of a sex life that my boyfriend is cheating on me?

Yes. Whether he is cheating in fact or in fantasy, he is cheating. Dump him. Move on.

Hey i think anyone who goes on the internet and chats to the opposite sex alone and seems to have gone of sex with you has it in his head to be able to cheat maybe he is having cyber sex with them maybe why he has no urge to be with you in that way or he may be arranging meets which ever it is you should try to confront him or if you want try to investigate first and get some sort of proof maybe he has the history of the conversations saved on the pc or you might be able to read emails if you can log onto his sites or even pretend you are him which ever it is it will only get worse if you dont confront it i have been there i know i took the pc out of action for a few weeks and at first he was restless and anoyed that there was no pc but after a while got back to normal but as soon as the pc came back he was straight back to it so nip it in the bud and if he aint satisfied with having just you then he aint worth it..
