so, im going to college in the fall and i decided that me and my bf should become friends longer than we did before we jumped into the relationship and so we both agreed. but now he's sort of making me promise that i wont talk to any other guys while im in college. the reason why i suggested friendship is b/c we really didnt develop a strong friendship before we started going out, so i wanted to do tht so we could get to know each other a little bit more. now that we are friends, he still acts as my bf and i absolutely hate it. he doesnt want me talking to anyother guys while im off to college and if i dont want to feel tied down while im away either. i know its going to be difficult for me to try and wait for this one guy who isnt even going to the same college as i am. what should i do? should i just not be friends with him at all?

Hi Honey,

You have tried to be he's friend but he is still putting demands on you as if he were your boyfriend.

In an ideal world we could be friends with all our Ex boyfriends but it is impossible if either party wants to rekindle the relationship.

College will be a whole new era for you, so enjoy it from the begining as a single girly.

Good luck x

Try to back off gently because as you said you hate the way he is behaving.
