Think long and hard about this one honey. I waited until I was 18 and I wish I had waited longer. Once you start having sex with a boy, things change with the relationship. He is a teenager and he will want to have sex more often once you've already begun. In addition, he will tell his friends and this will be spread around. You don't want that kind of reputation. If you have any doubts, don't do it. You need to be sure.
Go into planned parenthood and they will give you birth control and they will give you condoms. You can ask a nurse at your school - or a counselor as well. I don't think you need to be a certain age to go to Planned Parenthood without an adult, but call them and ask for their assitance. Before you start having sex, get your body used to birth control pills for 30 days. Every choice you make now, will affect you for the rest of your life. Also, many young people think and will say that there are certain times that you will not get pregnant. This is false. You can get pregnant anytime; while you are ovulating or not and even while your are on your period. Just be careful.
