When we are together i really feel a connection, that he has feelings for me but the next minute he doesn't seem interested at all, i really love him and think bout him all the time, we both have complicated issues as to why we can't be together but im too scared to tell him i love him incase he doesn't get in touch for good. I can't understand why he doesn't just blow me off altogether if he doesn't proper like me? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (24 September 2010): I know how you feel as I was in a somewhat-similar situation with a woman in my life. Eventually I sat her down to talk, though that just seemed to complicate things further; she considered me a close friend but no more though I persisted trying to start a relationship with her for another year before reality finally hit me.
The best thing you can do is talk to him and find out where he stands. Yes it would be terrible if you tell him how you feel and he doesn't have the same feelings/chooses to walk away. But would you rather continue "waiting," maybe years, for him to come around???
