He then rang me two nights later and we chatted for about an hour. But he hasn't yet suggested going out again. I am thinking that he is really comfortable and will suggest it soon, because he has talked about some of our interests and that we might share them together! What do think might be going on?

moose1 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThank you -really good replies and I hadn't thought about that! Although he was the one that suggested meeting up initially.I did text him last night and I had no reply so maybe he has decided differently. Could have just been busy though!!

Maybe he was waiting for you to suggest going out. Just because a man phones and speaks to you doesn't mean he's not shy. He said he had a great time, and he phoned you two nights later which means he is interested. Why don't you ask him?
