writes: Dear folks.my problem is kinda embarasing,please hear me out.last wednesday i had sex with my fiance who i see 2 or 3 times a month.ther was no cöndom,i took morning after pill.now for the past 3days i woke up to a VERY BAD smell coming from my between the legs but the discharge is white.to be honest im very embarassed! I dont know what going on,iv never had that before.now this morning when i hit the shower,the discharge is changed to yellowish brown.is this a sign of std or just kind of vaginal infection?does this mean my fiance is sleeping around,WITHOUT a condom.im so nervous.i dont know what to think or do.please help me!

reader, anonymous, writes (20 July 2010): It's probably a fungal infection, which you would have contracted even with a condom, if your partner had it too at the time of intercourse. However, the fact that the color of the "stuff" is changing does ring a few warning bells in my ears. Thus, I recommend you see your doctor as soon as you can. If it is a fungal infection, he will be able to prescribe you some strong and effective creams; if it not a fungal infection, then, well, he will run some more tests.

Hi. There are some common "downstairs" infections that women get that have nothing to do with sex. One of them can be quite wiffy! So go to your doctor and have a proper check up. If you feel a little embarrassed just request a lady doctor x
