Hey, basically i've been getting to know this lass really well on the internet..sounds abit corny i know! But she's been on webcam etc...and well we have a great laugh together! She only lives like an hour away in the car or on train, and we've said why don't we meet up for a game of pool coz she wants to prove she can beat me lol "personal joke!" She's a very good looking girl and she says if i lived where she lives that alot of girls will be interested in me but i don't have alot of confidence in my looks. I'm abit worried whether to meet her and what she will say or do when she see's me in person, what if shes shy etc..I'm not shy in person but i don't want it to go quiet!

like any relationship you have to take time to know each other--that means in person also--things should go ok if you get along online---the only way to find out is to meet--take it slow and have fun---no pressure on either side

AskEve agony auntIf you get on well online and have a lot in common then it stands to reason that you'll both get on just as well when you meet! I would meet her for sure, if you don't you may regret it for the rest of your life. She obviously likes you a lot and although you don't think you're particularly handsome she sure does! I would definitely go for it!

ChiRaven agony auntBe yourself. By all means, meet her. She wants to meet you, so you already have something going for you in the interaction. Let that give you some confidence. It doesn't take a lot of that to start to feel comfortable, especially with someone that you're used to talking to on line.

A lot of women are not as shallow as guys when it comes to looks. They are often more interested in how a guy comes across. Don't worry too much about what you look like, just go with the flow and have a good time. You're not out to meet the last woman on earth, just a girl you know from the internet. Don't let the pressure get to you. Once you let yourself relax and realize that all you've got invested here is an hour's trip, you should be able to handle just having a good time with this woman. If she likes you, that's an added bonus. If not, you were out to have a good time and you did that.
