We kept in contact as friends for the two months since he's left. But since he left, he's been more snippy with me or likes to tell me how great his new life is and how he'd love to meet new girls just to sleep with. I'm pretty much over him and am seeing new people. He knows this, and I know he hasn't met anyone. So what's the deal, why is he being slightly rude to me when he contacts me?! I still act nice and friendly and ignore the comments, but why is he like this now?Anyone had a similar experience? Reply to this Question Share |

Yep, jealousy. You've moved on, he hasn't. Instead of ignoring the comments, tell him straight you won't be treated this way, and you'l cut contact with him if he doesn't show you respect. Either he'll be okay, in which case maybe you can have a good friendship, or he'll stop contact or continue to be rude to you, in which case you're better off without him anyway.

Jealousy, pure and simple.
