writes: I know this girl from my class back in 2003. Since then, we never talked outside because I was shy until 2005 whereby I started to chat with her often outside and soon, became very close to her. I did develop strong feelings for her and in April, I told her. I confessed to her I do like her. She told me she does have feelings for me as well. We often go out after that even till now, but recently, she told me I was her first boyfriend and wants it to be her last. But problem is, the time when I told her I had feelings for her, I told her, if I wish to have a relationship with her, it'll be like in a year time where school will end for us. But now, she's already regarding me as her boyfriend when I havent even proposed anything to her. What should I do now ? I do love her so much, we're in the same class. I don't want to hurt her at all.

Try and gently explain to her that you are not yet ready for a relationship and you would rather just build on your friendship until after school when you have more time. If you truly love her and she really likes you back then there shouldn't be too much of a problem with starting the relationship now. But if you truly do not want to make yourself clear with her, but make sure it doesn't leave her feeling sad and alone by being there for her. Good luck.
