He knows i like him, all i can get out of him is sweet. I dot want to ask the question upfront.I know for sure he doesnt want me to end our so' called friendship' or forget how i feel about him. But he doesnt hang out with me or anything. The most we do is exchange jokes. So i told him, i am going to stop emailing him and hopefully with time, i will get over him. I can uderstad he is busy with assignments, but he seems to hang out with all his other mates except me. Probably its the difference in culture etc. Can anyone help. I would hate to think i have destroyed something.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 March 2006): Ask him out to a group event, then ask him to go out with you - just the two of you. Something along those lines. I mean, you will never know anything if you don't take risks. If you always play it safe, then most often than not, nothing ever gets done. There are risks and this totally depends on how willing you are to take those risks.
Don't ding me if it goes bad, but really, I suggest you go for it. Screw culture. It's about two people, not the nation of baa baa's.
