writes: Hello...I am still very much in love with my ex boyfriend of three years from college. We broke up because we both had drug problems and neither could kick the habit, so we kicked eachother. Regardless, I want to move on and find someone else, but it is SO hard. I want to know if anyone has ever TRULY found love again, or if it was never the same 2nd time, 3rd time around. I dont want to hold out hope for an unlikely future with either my ex or someone new.

 i'm not going to address your drug problem, because you didn't mention if you were still using or clean. i will address the love issue. you can find true love, but true love first beings with your personal strength. knowing yourself. the more you know yourself, the more you'll be able to make a good choice for who to be with. not figuring that out is like getting into a car and not knowing where to put the key to start it. it goes nowhere. the stronger sense of self you have, the stronger bond with someone else you'll be able to develop.

listen..it sucks to b in love...when you find that "special" someone and then have to lose that someone it sucks....me and my ex had your problem the only way to find someone different is for u to be different if you want someone clean and sober u have to b or it will start over again...trust me there are a million other people out there for u so u WILL find another "special" one..have faith in your self
