writes:hyea!!well this is a long and confusing story but il try and explain anyway...my boyfriend and i had been going steady for three months quiet happily but towards the last few weeks i noticed him mentioning "single" and i said to him are you not happy so we broke up. i was devastated and we kept on talking anyway trying to be freinds.anyway three weeks later he comes to me tells me he misses me and he made a huge mistake and i take him back.i was told this was a mistake as the first time we were going steady i heard rumours he cheated on me with another girl and althought he denied it he was always flirting with other girls.anyway when we got back it just wasnt the same as it used to be and we started talking less and less and i hadnt seen him in a few weeks.anyway i was out on at the weekend and in my drunken stupidity i cheated on him with another fella.although for a week before this happened i wasnt sure if it was working out and i was going to break up i have realised that i really do love him. i felt so guilty and told him the next morning.i was really sorry i couldnt believe i done that!!anyway he was really upset and ignored me for a day and a hlad until yesterday when he spent about two hours giving out to me.yet he said im amazing and he loves me and all this.i really want to get back with him i know it sounds stupid after what i did but waht do you's suggest to do??

reader, anonymous, writes (15 July 2008): point blank, i think once you cheat on someone...you're always going to cheat on him. so be fair to him and be fair to yourself and don't get back with him. and if you don't trust him and you feel in your gut that he cheated on you...then don't give into him otherwise he is going to take advantage of that. have you ever seen the movie "why did i get married?" by tyler perry and janet jackson? it's a new release so go and watch that movie and you will learn if it's even worth putting up with or not. be in a relationship where you can be happy and neither one of you guys with cheat on another
