reader, anonymous, writes (3 September 2007): The more you contact him the more you will push him away. Maybe he needs chance to think about things and if you pressurize him then he will probably back right off. Respect his request and give him the space he deserves. I would leave it another two weeks and if he doesn't initiate contact within this time then I would suggest you move on. There is nothing that you can do here but just play the waiting game unfortunately.
