Hi
I am 19 and i used sanitary towels up until 2 months ago.I decided to use tampons but i had no advice from my mum.I followed the instructions on the box coz my mum doesnt use tampons. Just be glad you mum is open. The best friend that you can have is your mum.

yes, it is your moms job to show you these things. I know it is emnbarrassing, but it is not something you should go to friends about or try to figure out on your own. Your mom can answer all your questions about your changing body, sex and sexuality, boys and all those crazy hormones and dating issues. She has been there, done that, and is the one person in the world who will wholeheartedly be on your side no matter what.

And isn't it nice to know your "normal!"
